Our recent multi-million dollar renovation is featured starting on page 42 of Scottsdale Business & Life.
Amara Resort & Spa, one of the leading hotels in Sedona, Ariz., announced today the completion of a $2 million renovation that upgraded the resort’s 100 guest rooms, pool, restaurant, outdoor event space, fitness center, lobby and more.
One of the largest elements of the resort’s facelift included the addition of a 26,000-gallon infinity pool; the negative edge overlooks Oak Creek while Sedona’s stunning red rocks provide a serene backdrop. The year-round pool also features a 12-person spa and three contemporary cabanas.
The renovation, which kicked off in Spring 2012 and was completed in September, was done in phases to ensure that the resort could stay open during the construction and that guests were not disturbed during the process.
Amara Spa, the only nationally-ranked spa in Sedona that is open the public, recently introduced the seven chakras into its offering of unique “East meets West” treatments and into the design of the spa.
As a haven for peace and tranquility, the Amara Spa at Amara Resort now further captures Sedona’s essence of wellness by offering services where Eastern wellness meets the contemporary luxuries of the West, by incorporating the seven chakras into its diverse spa services. The 4,000 square foot spa features seven treatment rooms, including one couples room, relaxation area, manicure/pedicure area, a private yoga room, steam room and a men’s and women’s lounge that were all recently named after a coordinating chakra.
